During your stay at the Festival you'll see many authentic costumes. These three (from left to right) are from Floda, Sweden; Maselv, Norway (note the hardanger apron) and Telemark, Norway.

You can learn more about the origins and background of many of these costumes by going to one of the Costume Shows during the Festival. By the way, the dancers wearing them during performances are especially dedicated since August can get very warm here in the Willamette Valley, and most of these costumes were designed to be worn in the cold of winter!
